Pink/Red Guava is an attractive pink-fleshed guava with sweet fragrance and strong juice/dessert appeal. The fruit is round to oval, with thin, yellow-green skin that ripens to a pale golden color. The flesh is a stunning salmon-pink to deep rose-red, soft, and filled with small, edible seeds. The flavor is sweeter and more aromatic than white guava, with notes of strawberry and passionfruit. The tree is small, evergreen, and highly ornamental, with smooth, copper-colored peeling bark. Market as a colorful, high-demand tropical fruit plant. Pink guava makes the most beautiful juice and guava paste.

Pink guava requires the same conditions as white guava: full sun, well-drained soil, and regular watering. It is equally adaptable but may be slightly more cold-sensitive. The tree fruits on new growth, so annual pruning after harvest encourages more fruit. Fertilize every 2–3 months with a balanced fertilizer. Pink guava tends to be more vigorous than white varieties, so more frequent pruning may be needed to maintain size. In containers, use a large pot (20+ gallons) and prune regularly.
